Paul Hubweber: stimme, posaune
Seit mehr als 30 Jahren spielt Paul Hubweber mit vielen europäischen Größen des Free Jazz und der Improvisierten Musik zusammen und hat sich zu einem der wichtigsten Erneuerer des Posaunenspiels entwickelt. Seine Technik vereinigt eine Vielzahl an kleinen Tönen: gedämpfte gebogene Bilder, Schnellfeuer-Punkte, Knacken, Knurren und Brummen, um nur einige zu nennen. Sein Stil hat etwas von Paul Rutherford, aber auch andere unverhohlene Einflüsse…er beeindruckt als abstrakter Performer, bewandert in der Ausübung, diszipliniert und fähig. Man muss ihm zugute halten, dass er die Grenzen seines Instruments transzendiert.

Alessandra Eramo: stimme, sampler
Alessandra Eramo is a vocalist, sound and intermedia artist based in Berlin, who works in the area of extended vocal technique, sound and visual poetry, field recording composition and performance. Core of her practice is to explore the relationship between sign and voice in sound and visual arts: for her live-performances, compositions, videos and installations she investigate the human voice as a multi-faceted instrument, the written and the sign in their multiple forms. Cultural and language interactions have strongly influenced her art, which mainly focuses on process-oriented aesthetics. She intends sound always in connection to real or imaginary territories, challenging concepts like ‚identity/belonging‘, ‚intimacy/fragility‘, ‚unexpected/unknown‘, therefore the concept of noise and silence in the individual and collective experience of listening. Currently she is conducting her Ph.D. Research in Sound Studies at the University of the Arts of Berlin.
Since 2010 she is the co-founder of Corvo Records, where she has also co-released the LP ‚Popewaffen‘ and her solo LP ‚Come ho imparato a volare‘.
