Gesa Stedman: Künstlerin und Professorin für Britische Kultur und Literatur, Großbritannien-Zentrum, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Kunst- und Forschungsprojekte u.a. zu britischen Autor:innen im Berlin der 1920er, 30er und 40er Jahre, und zu britischen und deutschen Spuren kolonialer Herrschaft in den wissenschaftlichen Sammlungen der HU Berlin. Kontakt zu Barbara Loftus und ihrem Werk entstand über das studentische Projekt Britons in Berlin: An Exploration Through the Senses während der Langen Nacht der Wissenschaften 2021.

Gesa Stedman is an artist and Professor of British Culture and Literature at the Großbritannien-Zentrum, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Her artistic and research projects focus, among other topics, on British authors in Berlin during the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, as well as on British and German traces of colonial rule in the scientific collections of Humboldt University.
Her connection to Barbara Loftus and her work emerged through the student project Britons in Berlin: An Exploration Through the Senses during the Long Night of the Sciences 2021.
